Also wondering about these dates in relation to the opening of DCA Carsland.

I already made reservations and plane fare so I guess I will learn the hard way. I expected crowds obviously but not grad nites!

    Grad Nite Dates:
    5/10 thursday
    5/11, 14,16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31

Does anyone have any information about what days are like when grad nights are going on?

There are also TONS more days listed for the event this year, so we'll just have to take it as it comes. Good luck!
My advice is to make reservations for restaurants and such that you really want to do, use your fast passes, and pack your patience.

Our usual plan is to arrive at the park for Early Entry (hopefully still happening even with Grad Nights), and get the majority of our touring done by noon. In the afternoons/evenings we mainly come back just for dinner and to use some fast passes, and only those of us who are up to the crowds even re-enter the park in the afternoons/evenings. We're there quite a few nights so that we can get to see all that we want to with this abbreviated touring schedule.

We never really enjoy the evening entertainment that much, likely because we are usually up and in line as early as 6:30AM, and getting up that early makes it tough to negotiate crowds in the evening without losing your cool.

So hopefully sticking primarily to this plan we will still get the type of experience we have come to love.

I will definitely book any must do dining reservations soon. : )
