Depp was flat and overused like an ugly girl who reappears scene after scene in boring porn flick. And Burton was off----the movie looked like 'Wizard of Oz' meets 'Shreck', just not a good combo.

But the reviews have actually been a lot less glowing than I expected. Both the NY Times and LA Times came pretty close to panning it. Being a big Burton and Depp fan, I'm surprised. But quality doesn't really matter ... this thing is making a fortune for Disney and that's all that counts!
