Incredible.

You got that right, Lee. I nearly fell off my chair when I read his name.

Un-freakin-believable. Timur Galen?? The manager who swapped out the beautiful turquoise patina paint for Space Mountain during the TL98 rehab, for that hideous awful brown paint, totally behind Baxter's back without his knowledge nor consent. Why? Because the brown paint was CHEAPER. AARRGGHH!

And don't forget that it was Galen who decided NOT to install the necessary infrastructure in Paradise Bay for nighttime shows like World of Color during DCA's construction. Now Disney is spending millions to rip up the lagoon floor to install it now.

The Gap was obviously dipped in stupid when they hired Pressler and his flying monkeys. I guess these HK jokers aren't any smarter by picking Galen.

Is it these companies can't learn or won't learn?

That was my first introduction to that particular idiot. He ruled with an iron fist and you ended up having to pick your battles. I'm just glad that the DTD and hotel folks didn't get the same rough end of the stick that Barry got on DCA. Timur was a despised figure and sadly it took Paul a long time to figure that out.

I actually saw him speak at a hotel conference a few years back and he was exactly the same. Completely unrepentent about his choices at DLR. He simply didn't get it. From what I have understood GS have lost a lot of money on his infrastructure bets in China so I'm as happy as a pig in muck knowing that.

With cred like that, he could be our next treasury secretary!
