We got there just after 9am had wanted to get there earlier but had to phone villa management as we had no hot water in our villa and the 192 was quite busyfor a monday,so after bag check and in through turnstiles we picked up our guide and headed in under the rail station kristine wanted to go the restroom so i told her i was going into city hall for a first visit badge for her whilst i was there i asked the nice CM for 2 just engaged badges and told her what i was about to do she was all ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh thats soooooooo romantic and i joked i would bring badges back in 10 mins if she said no,i did go back later but she must have been on a break,we then took a slow walk down main street taking some pics and taking it all in i think my nervousness never allowed me to have the feeling i always have walking up main street that i am home, looking back i wanted to gauge kristines reaction to main street but again my nerves where getting the most of me,i had planned to propose infront of the castle around midday but then i thought what if i lose the ring on a ride and thought if i do it now we can go on and enjoy the day so when we got right up to the castle i asked jessica the really nice photopass CM to take our pic kristine got into position and i went up to jessica and told her what i was going to do and gave her our camera and told her to just snap away with the 2 cameras,so there we where getting a few pics when i turned to kristine and said this place has always been a magical place for me and it would be even more magical if.......................and then i got down on one knee, well after a minute of happy tears(seemed like 10 mins)she said yes and what made it really nice was that jess got all emotional with us,i was quite surprised that everyone who where stood around never clapped or cheered or congratulated us but it never took anything away from the moment, jess took some more pics wished us well and we went on to enjoy MAGIC KINGDOM.
So first up for us the newly engaged couple was the jungle cruise we had a great capt but then ive never had a bad one, then onto tiki room which i always enjoy, kristine was just so engrossed with the birds she never saw the talking heads untill a further visit, then onto pirates not seen it with capt sparrow and barbosa in it,we then went on splash mtn where we got soaked i love this ride sadly we only rode it once due to big queues or because it was raining and we didnt want to be wet wet all day, then onto big thunder mtn which was one of kristines favourite rides we probably rode this more than any other in all parks, then the country bear jamboree again one of my favs but kris said she couldnt really understand the bears talking and singing, then onto another of my favs and turned into one of kris's too the haunted mansion i think we rode it 7 times in all,i had tried to get ressies for cindy's castle for any of the 3 times we where at MK but they were full each time a bit disapointing as i had wanted the champagne flutes they give to newly weds or engaged couples,we had lunch at cosmic rays, afternoon saw us do its a small world, mickeys philharmagic, speedway buzz lightyear before getting a place for the afternoon parade again i enjoyed it but i preferred the remember the magic parade, after that we headed back to tomorrowland to do carousel of progress which i love and spent next 2 hours singin it's a great big beautiful tomorrow :) done buzz again and then headed to toontown it was really busy so we did mickey and minnies house the judges tent and headed back to main street to just soak up the atmosphere bought a cookie and then waited for 45 mins in the rain next to an annoying family for spectromagic, always one of my favs i got shouted at by a cm for videoing it with my camcorder light on which i never knew was on after that we headed over to the statue of mickey and walt to wait for wishes always makes me tear up it was amazing as always even though some folk still like to put their kids on their shoulders and block others viewing, there was a lot we missed out on but we knew we would be going back in 11 days time not knowing that we would be going back in 7 days for mickey's not so scary halloween party and so home back to our villa where they still hadnt sorted the hot water out but we chillaxed with a beer and some food looking over the days pics before hitting the sack for sweet dreams of mickey n minnie.

Looking forward to the rest of the trip report :)

However, if you do go to Paris - try Auberge de Cindrillon with a nicer menu and the wine is included (the princes and princesses even waltz).

Reading this, I cannot wait for you to try out the other MK parks, and Kris will freak with Paris's Big Thunder, especially the bits that go under the river.

    Once again, congratulations!

I'm surprised people were quiet too. Do you think it's possible they didn't realize what was going on? I don't know how, since men aren't normally down on one knee.

Did anybody comment on your Just Engaged pins?

When did they start that? And what is that all about?
