question about fireworks

    No. You can pretty much see the overhead shells but most of what happens around the castle at lower altitudes is not greatly appreciated from the resorts. Sometimes, they don't even pipe the music around the Seven Seas Lagoon, and concequently, you miss a lot of the show's feel.

    The only place where you may get a decent view would be from the Top of the World at the Contemporary.

    That said, we watched the fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck at the Contmeporary once. Watching the big shells explode over Space Mountain gave a whole different perspective and it was kind of neat. You do miss all the stuff around the Castle though.

    Which is of course now the California Grill. And I'm pretty sure they control access up there now. If you're not dining there, you don't get to go up and enjoy the beautiful outside balcony.
