In all honesty, I think most of these I'd ask no more than $.50 for since I have no idea how much they're worth, so I'd like to know if there's a place I can go to see if I have any that are worth something.

So, is there one website that has them all or most of them? My pins were mostly purchased in 2000-2005, but a few are more recent... most are just ones I bought, but some are AP and DVC pins.

Unfortunately, since there are so many pins being released, just a handfull of all released pins reach desireability status. The vast majority are considdered common.

POPULAR characters or themed LOW LIMITED EDITION pins are typically more in demand. Also, just released new Hidden Mickey Cast lanyard pins seem to be desireable.

Unfotunately,, the counterfeiters have invaded the hobby so there are A TON of fakes being made and sold. This of course hurts the sale price of pins being sold by people who don't have a established positive seller's reputation. Lot of people won't pay top dollar for pins to someone without a established good track record.

Unless you have some of the more desireable pins, they are probably worth less than you paid for them or possibly original retail price at best.

Also, people's attention spans are short, so newer pins tend to be "hot" and sell better, and older pins cool down and drop in value fast. There are a handfull of pins that remain popular and retain or rise in value over time. These are usually the highly desirable pins that are low edition and sell out very quickly, thus making them harder to obtain.

Check out ebay to see if any of your pins you have value. Maybe a few are more desirable and can be sold for more than you paid for them. The others you might just have to sell at a loss if you really want to get rid of them. If you don't need the money, I would say just keep them. The memories they hold might have more value than their value if sold.

I'll second the ebay bit for value but thats not often a true mark esp right now.

If you want to photograph them and email me I'd be happy to take a look and estimate to the best of my knowledge what you could get for them...
