And, have always forgiven Disney for making people line up (for sometimes hours) for their "events" down Main Street - especially since they are designed to mainly entertain the younger set. And the older set for people who remember seeing Tarzan in those parades.

I still remember watching a young girl, perched on her Dad's shoulders, waving - yelling and doing everything a very little girl could (politely) to get Ariel's attention and she rode by in her airconditioned bubble from the parade that would never end a few years ago.

But, while I understand this was celebrating a bunch of Q-List stars attending a special event, why would the enemies and loyal killers of a regime bent on Universal domination take the time out to politely walk down a fake street with the people and creatures they want to destroy and lord over?

A moment's thought on that and I would have been in line for one of the attractions instead of waiting to see that.

At least the Tomorrowland show kept the evil and good theme going.

Sorry about the bad vibes but, something was seriously wrong with this presentation. It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where they had Luke (Mark Hamill) show up at their convention and knocked down the cardboard stormtroupers on his way to the microphone (and the people cheered).

Just one more unimpressive part of an unimpressive event. Even my new Son-in-Law... a SW Geek-Cum-Laude... would haVe been disappointed.

I agree that we do not have military precision during the parade, but also recall several times during my own time in the military when we went into a “route†or and “at ease†march during extremely hot days as well as the fact many of the members have no prior marching experience. In fact if you watch the films you see little “snap and polish†among the Imperial troops (of course most of them were actors with little or no military experience themselves), so we are in fact recreating that.
