So I start looking and almost everything is booked. I can get GC DTD view for $320/night($1518 total for the 4 nights) OR Carousel Inn for $89/night (410 total). GC would be most convenient with the kids alone but geez, look at the savings-over 1100 less to stay at Carousel! Plus, I'd have to pay the extra $90 to buy blockout passes for the 3 of us. Are 6 year olds the same price?

We've never stayed at Carousel, how bad is it? Reviews are fair but the clerk warned me they are building a new eatery so she requested 5th floor back for us with 2 q beds.

I take it there are cheerleaders or something in town? Do I even want to go then? Would it be as bad as Thanksgiving? Thanks for any help or opinions you care to share.
