I really enjoyed Mickey's Philharmagic when I was in WDW, but I realize this is not exactly a tomorrowland attraction, but if we can have Buzz in IASW... Anyway if they're so worried about things being relevant and new and exciting surely this old 3-D show can be gutted. Think of something else! Also-Over in DCA...does anybody ride Monsters? or watch the Muppet 3-D show? Gut that entire back section and put in the Rockin' Roller Coaster! So there-two ideas that are not "plussing" and yet they still don't have to use that much creative juices... what more could they want. Those could at least get them through until they can think of new and exciting ideas... shoot, give us an expedition everest in adventure/frontierland... not sure where, but hey... it's something. It worked with Tower of Terror. Anyone else have any ideas. It doesn't even have to be hey give us such and such ride that so and so park already has. If you have an idea for something completely new say that too. If by some chance they are watching these boards let's not just complain about what they're doing that we don't like, let's give them ideas for what we would like!

Besides, DCA has plenty of cloned attractions. It needs more unique stuff if it's ever going to be a must-see place. And it needs more stuff the whole family can ride together.

I admit it is short, but I do like it. <<<Hollywood Backlot have a lot more movie-related stuff going on. Needs more hustle and bustle, maybe even some small scale walk-through stuff.>>> YES! It's mostly shops. We only do the ToT and I personally love the animation building, but that's about all we do over there. It needs to be bigger and have more interest.

I don't have anything specific in mind, but I just want to see something creative. I touched on this earlier today on one of the IASW topics, but I frequently get the feeling that too many of the new DL attractions start with the question "what can we do with this space that will utilize as much of the existing infrastructure as possible?" So you end up taking SuperStar Limo (P'tui!) and redecorating it as Monsters Inc. Or shoehorning what ought to be a cozy, horizontally-oriented Pooh dark ride into a small floorspace with high ceilings. I'm doing a lousy job of eliminating the negative here, but I think the most positive thing they could do would be to get away from "we've got this building and these animatronics - I bet we can make a (insert franchise here) attraction that the guests will love." "Let's take this existing ride system and put pictures of Flik around it." "Let's put different costumes on the dolls." They've been playing this "zero sum" thing for too long, and as the attractions continue to lose elements due to age, the overall experience goes downhill. Either fix it or level it, says I. Keeping my fingers crossed for "Toy Story Midway Mania."

If I remember right Fisherman's Wharf in SF had some dark ride whereby tourists boarded cable cars and went through SF's quake and fire. DCA should have had something grand based on that general theme. But I'm afraid DCA is a dollar short and a day late for such an attraction.

There was this graphic on the Oriental Land Co website (dunno if it's still there) that flashed "Land", "Sea", "Air". So I've always kinda hoped they'd drop the "Air" part and just make some maxed out third park called "DisneySpace" which would be kinda like Mission:Space on a parkwide scale. Maybe even an entire indoor park where you actually do astronaut training and then get to fly to Mars and then somehow have all these cool rides in a quasi weightless environment or something (no, I have no idea how they'd actually ACCOMPLISH such a thing, I'd imagine wind tunnels of some sort would have to be involved). How cool would THAT be?

C'mon people-I mean we do still love the place, despite some of the not so cool ideas they have going on-well I do anyway. 8D <--- mmears!

I don't know how much land they have back there, but add toons to that. Don't let them leak across the border into IASW
