In particular, Steven Spielberg's movie version of the novel "Ready Player One" is currently scheduled for the same day that Episode VIII moved to. I can't imagine that Warner Bros isn't already looking for a new release date for it. The other interesting one is "Avatar 2", which is currently slated for release 10 days later on Christmas Day. Even though Fox is releasing that one, I'm sure Disney has to be coordinating with them since the new attractions in Animal Kingdom give them a huge stake it its success. While the Christmas movie market might be big enough for both films, I'd think the availability of Imax and other special format screens would be a big issue. My bet is that "Ready Player One" moves to November and Avatar 2 gets pushed to Spring or Summer 2018.
