The ride experience is greatly enhanced when there's a known story line one can associate it with, and I'm afraid trying to explain who Mr. Toad is to a 7 year old only goes so far. Some of these stories are easily available andsome are 'e-bay' available, but Disney should make them available full time to patrons. It wouldn't need alarge retail space, could easily replace one of the cookie cutter general souvenir stores up front, and IMO would make a mint.

The 20th Century Music Shop on Main Street in Disneyland has a system that burns CDs of a number of audio rarities from the Disney catalogue. The shop also carries a large selection of Disney videos. The Disney Studio Store next to the El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard also has a large selection. And, as noted, any titles currently in release are available on line. You can also find any number that are unavailable on the secondary market.
