I quit smoking real cigs 9 weeks ago and these are great, but I'm wondering if I would have to go to the stinky smoking areas (yeah, I turned into one of THOSE fussy ex-smokers-even tho I hate being that way) if I use mine. If worse comes to worse, I know how to use them without there being a noticable vapor exhale.

Anyway...Just to keep people from freaking out thinking it's a real cig I'd still go to the smoking area.

The FDA is claiming that they are a "new drug" because they deliver nicotine. They say there is no proof of their safety. Fact of the matter is, they don't use tobacco, therefore they aren't getting their $$$ from them. They use nicotine juice (same as in inhalers) and water, glycerol, and flavors. ALL of the ingredients are deemed safe for normal consumption and use (except the nicotine of course) but have not been tested for vaporizing. That is where the FDA thinks they can stop these. I feel a ton safer inhaling water vapor, flavor vapor, glycerol vapor (actualy already OK'd to be vaped for tons of different medical uses), and the nicotine... well when I smoked I already inhaled a TON of that along with 400 plus other chemicals now didn't I?

Most starter kits come with 2 rechargable batteries, a battery charger, an atomizer (what makes it work) and 5 cartridges (each good for about 5-7 cigarettes worth of puffing. Most starter kits start around $50 online and most people start wil a model called a DSE901 or "mini". You can buy the e-juice in different strengths and flavors (i.e. Marlboro, menthol, Camel and other flavors too) and refil your cartridges to save $ instead of buying new carts.

These have honestly been the best thing I can find to stop smoking. I showed it to my Dr. and he said that even tho it hasn't been tested, he's certain it has got to be better than smoking.

Bottom line is there is no sin tax on them, the Government isn't getting their cut, so they are trying to make it difficult. The FDA is the same bunch of idiots that want to classify Cheerios as a drug because it can lower your cholesterol.

There are many models that do NOT resemble real cigs, and that's what most of us "vapors" use. We are also not calling it "smoking", but refering to it as "vaping".

If you inhale deeply, or hold the inhale for a few seconds, there is no visible vapor exhaled.

As with Disneyland, to the unaware and unknowing there is alot of missinformation about e-cigs. I've done a ton of research and looked at alot of info about these and am also a member at an e-cigarette forum with a ton of other info.

The best part is I am no longer smoking, my clothes, house, car and body no longer stink of cigarettes, my kids don't gag around me, and I am paying about $30 a month for e-juice instead of $10 a day on cigs.

When I need my nic fix, I reach into my pocket, take a quick inhale, put it back in my pocket and I'm good for a while. No more lighting a cig, taking a few drags, getting disgusted, having to finish the thing when it's already nasty and not enjoyable.... so much better feeling to me.

Online you can get a better model, and a pack of 5 carts for $3.99. Most of the mall kiosks are "Smoke Everywhere" and on the e-cig forum they have been discussed in great detail about being rip offs. Unfortunately, that's how most people find out about them tho.

I'm going to bring mine with my and use it descretely. Most likely within the smoking areas. :-/

Here in Vegas I like to use mine in restaurants. Then when they come over and tell me I can't smoke, I show them that I'm not, let them see that the "smoke" is actualy water vapor that dissapears almost imediately, and often end up telling the person that told me I couldn't smoke where they can get one of their own. LOL!

I don't sell them, I just am so pleased with them that I would like to see all smokers try them.

It's been 9 weeks since I have had a real cig, and frankly, after smoking a pack & 1/2 of Camels a day for 29 years, I never thaught it would be this easy to just quit.

Anyways, I was currious as to what Disneyland's stance was on this. Those 1 hour lines can be a big problem for smokers. If need be I'll just make sure to cup my vaporizer (e-cig)in my hand and make sure there is no exhale vapor. A trick all of us e-cig users know well. LOL!

Makes me proud!

If you really don't won't to be around the smoke what about using a stall in a bathroom? As for waiting in long lines thats what helps me not smoke so much while there lol.

Today was officialy the 9th week without a single puff from a real cig. Being around the smoke doesn't really bother me- I still go to bars here where smoking is ok, it's just at the end of the night I can smell the stink on me. THAT is what bothers me.

Holding the vapor in or inhaling deeper actualy makes the exhale vapor almost completely unnoticable. That's what I think I'll do in the long lines. If done descretely, there is absolutely no way anyone would suspect anything.

Also, if you haven't seen the previous posts, NEVER buy one from a mall kiosk! You WILL be ripped off. I'm not sure of the rules here, but there is an e-cigarette forum that can be searched on yahoo (it's the 1st one that comes up in the search) with a ton of info and even a whole section of suppliers that sell these for a very affordable $35-$55 starter pack range. My first was a DSE901 "mini" that was black with a blue LED in the end. I still have 3 of them and use them when I want something smaller to carry with me but usualy I use one of the e-cigars just because I like the longer lasting battery and a bigger cartridge that doesn't need as much refilling durring the day. I started out with a 36 strength e-liquid (higher the number, the more the nicotine in it. 36 is the highest) and am already down to a 24 strength and the next juice I order is going to be 18 strength. I'm going to try to get down to zero.

Years and years of research shows how dangerous nicotine is from smoke and now people think that getting nicotine from sources other than cigarettes is safe?!?

I think that there is a flaw in logic somewhere.

Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen either.

You mention "nicotine from smoke", there is NO SMOKE involved with these either.
