There's a whole lot in the park right now that's closed, and not much that's "new and improved". In the past, price increases were tempered by the pitch that you were receiving increased value for your dollar.

To raise the prices at the same time that they're closing attractions and cutting back on hours and entertainment seems a bit insensitive.

Not that it matters to me, but will SoCal residents now pay $35 to get in because of the "SoCal Resident Salute?" The commcercial says "Southern California Adults get in for the kids price." It does not mention the previous $33 price.

Face it people, supply and demand. If Disney thinks it can get away with it, it will try it.

And the Annual Pass is a steal if you live near it(we dont).. We are coming for 8 days in April and getting the AP because it is alot cheaper that way and just means I can con my dh into another trip within a years time to make it worth even more..

I will be visiting the DLR on my Annual Pass. It is a lucky happenstance that it will be basically free for me.

Certainly there are aspects of it that STILL come across as not good value for money....even being free.
