If I buy a Pal Mickey via Ebay, what is the likelihood that it will operate properly if we go to WDW with it? How do those things work? Do they "turn off" their "park power" after leaving the parks?

If the Pal Mickey you buy still works, I would imagine that it should still work whenever you enter any of the four theme parks. He'll vibrate whenever 'he' wants to tell you something about an attraction or show or whatever in the park. I believe you just press his tummy or hand to hear him speak about it.

They still sell them at the parks, don't they??? We bought ours 2 years ago and found it fun to use. Our son really liked him!!!

I would stick to getting one in the box (version is not really important)

It was a fun addition but I am not sure he's worth the $70.00 full price.

Only if you take him to Universal!
