Dining on the cruise

    You will likely be on your own. On our cruise last October my wife's sister and her husband joined us, and the four of us had our own table. Make sure that you give DCL the names of the other parties you want to be seated with if the reservations are made separately.

You can also request staterooms to be located close to each other. . Did you book thru Disney Cruise or a travel agent?     As others have said, seating you all together shouldn't be a problem, but make sure the reservations are all linked together. That can be done through your travel agent or directly with the Disney Cruise Line if you booked directly. Linking them together means you'll end up seated together. But as with anything else, you should do as early as you can. As soon as your friends book, make sure the reservations get linked. I also would think a party that size would not end up sharing a table with another party.

    Although cabin assignments are often done at time of booking, possibly 18 months out, cabin assignments fill up so you may not be able to get close-by cabins (if you have Disney-assigned cabin reservations) even if reservations are linked. But reportedly, dining table assignments are not done until just a few days before sailing, so as long as everyone you want to sit with has their reservations linked at least a week before sailing and has the same dining time, it should just happen automatically.
