Even the Disney outlet that usually comes to Sac or Vacaville doesn't seem to be coming this year. The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco carries some absolutely beautiful early favorite Dis character items but only TWDFM t-shirts. Would like to know the reason for this closure. Probably $ related or lack of...! ♥♥♥to you & Snow White-Keep warm & flu free!
Originally Posted By TINK-MOBILE As far we know , it is because of leasing issues with the mall. the store did very well sales wise..just don't understand how Disney could not locate some wheres else, there are malls in coquitlam which is a large mall, certainally meets their criteria, if they had a store in the fraser valley they would do extremely well, going to be a disappointment to a lot of children, their are still stores in edmonton two i believe, that is all in western canada, pretty grim for such a large company, disney closed its store in kitsap county a while ago, near Bremerton, there are no stores left in BC ..they are all gone now..for some reason Disney and the mall could get a lease arrangement costing many dedicated employees their jobs they no longer will be cast members everything ends for them which is a shame, they couldd transfer but would have to move to the united states or edmonton, most have families and live here in bc permanently...hopefully disney will be able to begin again in a new area, it was a great store with great cast members...who loved their jobs..

When Disney regained ownership, they have continued the trend. That and on-line sales have certainly hurt sales at the local stores and resulted in many closing. Very sad...The Disney Stores always gave me a little "fix" in between visits to the park.
