In 1998, following substantial refurbishment, it re-launched as The Enchanted Tiki Room-Under New Management, with two famous Disney birds – Iago from Aladdin and Zazu from The Lion King – taking control and trying to spruce up the show.

Sounds like it'll be the same, but with some subtle differences.

He didn't sound like the fountain would be anything special in it. Just that the Ohoa pedestal would act as a temporary fountain until they put a real one in. Meaning we'll probably never get a real one. Haha

The high "jet" of water that heralds the Bird Mobile is, as I am sure everyone over the age of 12 is well aware, in actuality a long glass tube with water bubbling out the top. It is elevated by a fairly sophisticated device, to ensure it stays perfectly straight as it rises. The volume of water pumped through it must be carefully maintained as well, to make sure that the illusion that it is a shaft of carefully propelled water isn't broken. And bear in mind that the tube resides in a room one full floor below the Tiki Room-- otherwise it wouldn't be long enough to reach the underside of the Bird Mobile.
