What was the quality like guys?

Is this for real ? I NEVER complain about prices at WDW, but if this is reality, this will be the first time. If it is - hop right the heck out of there and over to California Grill or Blue Zoo etc and get a much better meal for less.

The most famous Italian Restaurants I know - in Chicago , New York etc. are not in that range- heck I can eat at Sardi's In the theatre district in New York and have a couple of drinks for that --

Furthermore, what is the hook to eat here? What different kind of experience do I get eating at this Italian restaurant than I would get at my local Mom & Pop Italian restaurant at home. In fact, I'm sure I would now enjoy Italian more at home than at EPCOT. Alfredo's had the theming of their Italian counterpart, and their signature dish -- which was truly unlike most other Alfredo dishes you get at home.

So, please tell me -- what did we win here? Sure looks bad to me. I won't be eating there.

Oh -- and what's with all the lemons? Because nothing says fine Italian dining like fresh lemons??? I'd say there's a bit of irony there. Looks like we got slipped a lemon in the changeover....

However it's very easy to justify the higher prices. Now people can say even more often how they saved so much money on the Disney Dining Experience. That plan has ruined dining at WDW for us.

if that's really the case - you're right in that this is the worst abuse to the WDW visitor from that freakin plan....

What makes this more than double the cost of any buffet @ WDW ? Family style essentially a buffet?

Do you get an Australian lobster tail with this family style ?

I hope the place is empty - ( of course the dining plan group will all be there )

Bring back the $23.00 FRENCH cheeseburger! The heck with real french food. :)

At V&A you're paying a bit for the exclusivity. Based on the number of tables at TI, there is little exclusivity.

Good news is, they accept DDE so at least I won't have to tip exactly - they'll just get the 20% I save using DDE as a tip. :)
