Oh, MAN -t hat was easily the funniest scene in the move IMO. The kid playing Elias totally sold it, and Jeff Anderson's reactions were GREAT! So, assuming other LPers will see this (at least a few of us!), what was YOUR favorite scene? Make sure to keep the description appropriate for LP, of course. Oh, and I LOVED when Jason Lee finished telling Randal that nobody else remembered the pickle thing from high school, then in walks Jay, who calls him by that nickname! lol

Julie Dwyer, Randals little "walk" on the counter, "I assure you. we're re-open" This beat out Pirates as my favorite film so far this year. I was really supried how serious Smith got with it too, and i thought the last shot was really touching and sweet.

For those familiar with Buena Park ... there's a section where Beach Blvd. splits just past Tower Records. Beach Blvd. continues to the left .... Stanton Ave. begins .. and curves just slight right. It's at that "V" is where the Burger King (Moobys) was. Those familiar with this area might remember Van Dee Kamps with the windmill, Bobs Big Boy, and Sambos at the corner of Crescent. and Beach Blvd. They filmed in that area for 20 days ... and even though I don't live there anymore ... I would have LOVED to check it out! They ended up using the Days Inn across the street: http://www.daysinn.com/DaysInn /control/Booking/map?pid=13845&brandInfo=DI&MQZoom=8 I just can't get over ... that while I was supposed to beleive it was New Jersey ... It's the area I grew up in! TOO MUCH! The film was SOOOOO Good! Kevin Smith "brand" of filming (LOL) may not be for everyone. But he amazingly throws a sophisticated "punch" for what often is the lude version of the "Three Stooges" humor. I'm just trying to picture the Donkey scene going on in Buena Park!! :O) Just a spits throw from a "certain" magical kingdom on Harbor Blvd. ~ The Lord of the Rings vs. Star Wars vs. Jesus argument scene was one of my personal favorites!!! I gotta see it a second time!
