When Universal Studios owned it, there was talk of a 2nd park and the mastplan was always to have 2 parks, a water park, hotels, golf course and a beach club. Most of those have been built out, even though there have been many changes of ownership.

Now the newest themed hotel has opened and it is looking pretty awesome - 4 star hotel, 3 star, self catering and Teepee camping. It is far more detailed than the western themed Cheyenne in DLP and is almost on par with Wilderness Lodge in some ways. The Baloos may have to check this one out next year.

It seems to be getting mostly positive, although mixed reviews on tripadvisor.com.

TA lists it as the #2 most popular attraction in Salou. What's #1?

It is a fun park, think Busch Gardens, meets a little old school Universal Studios, meets a little World Showcase, all with less maintenance and pushy guests.

But it is probably my 2nd fav theme park resort in Europe after DLP.
