We were last at the park 3 years ago and I can't wait to get back. My future wife has been three times before and all those times Haunted Mansion has been closed, and it looks like it is again...lol. Anyways my question is what are some of the things we should look at doing to mark this special occasion. We both love all the Disney rides so no problems there.

Others may have some good suggestions.

Anyway, Redshirt, make sure you wander over to the DLH and have someone take pictures of you in your bride and groom mouse ears at the Wedding Gazebo!

Are you a redshirt like from Star Trek? (That's the nickname I give lousy people I have to work with and sometimes, well, sometimes they get left back on the planet).

And wear the "Just Married" buttons and the ears all over! You sometimes get special treatment.

Also, you can contact catering and ask about special meals. I've heard of events where they make mini-wedding cakes, private dinners on patios (depends on where you are staying) and whatnot.

You can also call the wedding department and see if they offer anything special that I'm not think about right now.

As for the name, it's not a Star Trek thing, it's just a random Internet name I've had for the last 10 years. I always laugh when I see a Red Shirt guy on Star Trek, it's like bets on when he'll get it.

Anyone know if you need to make reservations well in advance for Napa Rose? We're in Hawaii before the mainland, should I make a reservation just in case?

    Thanks.

Also, I would recommend asking at the Mark Twain Sternwheeler if you can drive, that's pretty special.

Steakhouse 55 and the Blue Bayou also offer romantic meals, but nothing on the scale of Napa Rose.

    Congratulations!
