I love Darkwing so much, but Gargoyles had to get my vote. Overall it's just such a better show.

And best theme goes to Gummi Bears. Ah. Remember the days of theme songs? Sigh.

There was a good six months in college where I would just walk around and suddenly sing "Once upon in Toon Town, there was cat that had it all!" Like I had tourrettes syndrome.

I remember hooking my stereo up to my VCR so that i could make my own recording of all of the theme songs. I included all of the "One Saturday Morning" songs too. I had a lot of free time back then.

As much as I lament the loss of theme songs in general, I do think that "Phineas and Ferb" has a kick-butt theme song.

Certainly makes Disney the place for the best TV animation (not that it has much competition, with the CN screwing all its animation by going "real" and Nickelodeon deciding that having a special every 2 weeks is the best idea to develop its shows.)

I have seen half hour episodes of "The Little Mermaid" series on The Disney Channel..it's her life before the movie. Really, I'm not making this up. It was like a Hercules, Timon & Pumba type show.
