EpcotCenter open walled informaiton center

    This was a unique building as where the windows and door would go, there was just a big open space.

    Inside was a central desk where you could talk to a cast member.

    Also along the wall were these monitors ( there were throughout Epcot Center grounds too ) that you could talk directly to a cast member via camera and see him/her on the screen. They would try to help you with any information you needed. I think it was sponsered by att&t.

    Does anyone remember this and would you know of a site that might have some pics of this?

    Anyone recall any of this or any other attractions/buildings that have gone the wayside???

    ID, your memory is absolutely correct. I used to love going to those stations and booking my dining for THAT DAY - can you imagine? The stations were moved to a new location over to the left (east) of SSE sometime in the 90's.

    I remember when EPCOT Center first opened, the extremely long lines that would form here early in the day to make reservations via the WorldKey Information touch-screen kiosks to the various EC restaurants. The long line would snake outside the building and sometimes rival the lines for some of the park's most popular attractions, at least for the first hour or so after the park would open.
