At 7p Saturday, January 15th at the Radisson Resort Parkway they are going to talk about their Disney art. Admission is only $10 and includes light refreshments. The next day the same hotel which is located on the 192 just across from the entrance to Celebration will host a Strictly Disneyana Show & Sale. Hundreds of Disney items from Disney theme parks around the world and from Disney stores around world, from vendors and from private collectors will be showcased. They will also offer pin trading in a nearby room. Now Friday it did look like it was going to storm like there was no tomorrow..but it held off long enough for the emcee to move is to the Sounds Stage..indoors for the contest -- it wa pouring by the time we were done... As for overlapping-- yeah that concerned me too at first -- but you know what..I feel it worked better because then the trivia started with 50 people instead of 300 or more....much more manageable and chance for more interaction..over two days I still got to do all I really wanted..there was no one there that weekend that I really wanted an autograph from..so I was spared those lines...my 9 year old daughter got to attend 'jedi Academy' that was very cool for her......I really dont feel like I missed much even with the closed end registrations...was handled very competently ( and if you had ever attended the old Disneyana conventions - especially the last few) - you know that is not always the case with events.
