Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF) Protests Release of Disney's Bubble Boy
According to Carol Ann Demaret, whose son lived in a bubble due to immune deficiencies and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), a nationwide patient advocacy group, "There is nothing funny about living with a potentially life-threatening genetic disease, and it is irresponsible and reprehensible of Disney to have proceeded with the making of this film."

Yup, someone who thought that piece of green fuzzy cheese was interesting back then would probably be of age to "pay tribute" to it right about now.

I think it does show a lack of feeling.
