Swirl, swish, spit. Let the flavorful notes linger on your palette and now be sure you caught that little bio-line at the bottom.. and there's of course this supporting evidence..

    Oh..

So you see this person actually does things differently from how we typically view "Disney" management mentality.. and from how we see the results at Epcot, is pretty effective at it.

    And there's this..

    <a href="http://firechief.com/leadership/ar/firefighting_forward_thinkers_2/" target="_blank">http://firechief.com/leadershi...nkers_2/</a>

"The way to organizational effectiveness lies in the strength of a few key things done extremely well that are derived from effective leadership. I don't mean to insinuate that it is easy, but it's not as complex as one might believe."

I'm not going to read all of those links. Can't you give us the Cliffs Notes version? Summarize your monumental discovery...

Although glancing at them and knowing your overall feeling about Disney management leads me to guess that this is another attempt at a slam of some kind. How that is related to your subject "An Epcot character" is also baffling. If you expect people to take you seriously, perhaps you shouldn't come off sounding so pompous, because that's how you are coming across to me.

Very Epcot, very progressive (not political progressive, progressive-progressive.)

And that's not the norm for Disney how we know it, an not surprisingly, Epcot's new business development is doing quite well with new restuarants, new shops, new etc.. while other parks are losing sponsorships and contracts and business partners.

So there is definitely something to be said for the old Epcot way of doing thing.

Sometimes folks take what i say far too negatively.

For better or worse (usually worse) when you're branded... well that's kinda it for some folks...

Anyways back on topic. After reading all the articles (What else am I going to do waiting for bio to start?)if he practices what he preaches everything should work out fine. Especially if he follows this principle that he posted "The first step in this journey is to make sure that the ladder is indeed leaning against the right wall."

While that should be common sense... as we can see in everyday life. The majority of people don't look at where the ladder is. They just throw it out and hope it sticks.

    Good articles merf. *wedonthaveathumbsupiconbutweshould*

No, they have lives and don't monitor your threads 24/7.

I pretty much spend a lot of time posting, and I never have anything to say.

    I like to gripe too!
