but this show was such a very blatant informercial -- including flashing the number and website for Disney vacations -- sort of disguised as a Christmas special.

It just felt so crass and commercial -- 'what's your Disney side?'

And what was the big spoiler?

The absolute bottom though was when the girl from Modern Family gathered her friends in the lobby of the Grand Californian to tell them about how they could order a vacation planning video. I was hoping her boyfriend would jump and shout, "WE ARE IN A VACATION PLANNING VIDEO!!!" Disney Incepted us, on Christmas no less.

But I couldn't get past how every commercial break in this giant disney commercial began with a Disney commercial. It's a bit much.

And yet I watch every year. Because I like Disney vacation planning videos. What's wrong with me.

On the plus side, NPH talked for a good minute about how he and his husband enjoy taking their children to WDW. They even put up a pic. Never thought I'd see that day. Yay.

I have the same problem, TheRedhead. Every January, I go online to order the Disney Parks and DCL planning DVDs, just so I can get my annual fix of what I call "Disney Park porn". But hey, it's free, and I can think of worse things to be addicted to.

I forgot to tune in or DVR the "Parade" broadcast this year (the Rose Parade and Macy's Parade broadcasts televise parades, this show's just a Disney Parks promotional video with musical numbers). I'll probably end up watching it on abc.com because I'm a dork like that, but it doesn't sound like I missed much.
