Regarding Mr. Plume's commentary in the article, both "Muppet Christmas Carol" in '93 and "Muppet Treasure Island" cast the muppets in roles from famous stories with non-muppet actors in the prominent or leading roles...so what's the big deal? Also, the recent Muppet Christmas movie for TV was the closest to the spirit of the original shows and movies than anything in the last 12 years, so the fact that their using the same director for this film is a good sign.
