ABC has given a 10-episode straight-to-series order to Somewhere Between, a thriller drama series with a supernatural twist produced by Canadian production company Thunderbird Entertainment (Intelligence). The project, done under the lower-cost model used for summer programming, is for summer 2017. ABC did not have an original scripted drama series for next summer after opting not to renew Mistresses.
