I am a little upset that they were not seeking the death penalty considering it was planned as an execution style hit and not a robbery/murder. But none the less, its still good news. I met Mickey for the first time when I was about 8 at Dannys test track off the 57 freeway. (now its a business park). In total I think I met Mickey about 3 times as well as his wife. Also I remember going to the MTEG races. Mickey was the one that pioneered the deal to get all the races set up on consecutive weekends at Anaheim Stadium. They would truck the dirt in and just move it around for the different events (supercross and the MT Off Road races) which was part of the business deal that Mickey had with Goodwin. I called my dad to let him know and he had just talked to Danny on the cell phone. Either way its a big bit of news for my dad. I really do miss the races. They were awesome. Trucks, Super 1600s (buggies), quads and motorcycles. It was the first time I met Jimmy Johnson (as a young kid running buggies with his dad) and why I am still a fan to this day.
