I've always been envious of their capability to find those special sunny spots, away from the strollers and wall-to-wall guests, to just chill out and relax in peace. sigh.

Regarding DL's fireworks... I assume this is the Christmas show since the snow fall effect was shown. This seems to be a new version of the program since I do not recall lasers being shot from the Castle before.

As for the DCA, it is a nice tree, but after the hype in the AP newsletter, the lighting ceremony seemed really lame...

They claimed the tree lighting would be a Magical Disney Moment, and Lisa and I were there at 4:45, and it was nothing special, we both called it weak and lame.

And it looks like a traditional tree to us, and nothing like what we expected when they said "non-traditional, contemporary color palette"....

But I guess it really did match up with the "ambience and attitude" of DCA... disappointing!

I just can't wait to see them all at Christmas!

The DL 50th tree looks fab, just a question.
Are all the gold lights working on the tree? I could not make out if it was the camera angle, or if some of the lights were not working that night?

From your pix, I also really like the DCA tree and think the area looks great all light up!

They did or the fans? It's a Christmas tree; what did people expect? A round trip to the Moon?
