I remember going as a child in the summer and it was borderline torture sometimes, between the long lines and the ridiculous heat. I'm not expecting a "cooler" visit, perhaps just less crowded and chaotic.

I've heard the end of Aug is OK because some schools are back in session. Our schools are in until the very end of June, but don't start back up until after labor day. We may try late Aug next time.

We would do the park's in the morning and then go back to the hotel around 12:30 - 1:00 and go swimming for about 3 hours or so. After that we would shower, go eat dinner and do the park's again during the later hours of the day.
