HoJo was nice but they were still doing construction and had only 1 (slow) working elevator. Since I had a stroller (& grandma), we couldn't use the stairs.

I checked prices for both and they are about the same for what we need but which one do you prefer?

Is distance between DL & CCI longer or shorter than DL to HoJo's?

Do you like any of the hotels you'd pass on Harbor Blvd. on your way to HoJo's? Although it was not a long walk for the adults it got tiring for the little ones and grandma.

    Thanks for the help!

A couple things it has that are nicer then hojo's- a private shuttle and free breakfast (that gets good reviews, unlike some of them!).

Hojo's is rated #3- so it's also well loved!

They are just about the same distance- but with candy cane having a shuttle that runs every hour it makes it a great choice!

HoJo's comes with the nicer grounds and pool areas, and larger rooms.

CCI comes with the free breakfast.

    I prefer HoJo's.....

One other thing I like better about the walk to and from CCI is not having to wait to cross at the crosswalk on Harbor Blvd. When your feet are tired at night, that wait can seem like an eternity.

And with all due respect to my buddy, Darkbeer, I think the grounds at the CCI can't be beat anywhere. They are SO lovely... We feel like it's an extension of Disneyland. :)

I am scared to pieces of those things....

And the walk was not bad at all, well lit at night...and our other big plus was the mini-mart next door and the 7-11 2 doors away...very convenient for sodas to put in the little fridge in the room!

I agree that the Best Western Park Place inn is the BEST location. Hotel is nothing fancy but can't get any closer to Disney than the Best Western.

The cost of the Entertainment Card is between $20-$40 depending on where you live. I believe the website is: www.entertainmentcard.com

You could call the HoJo and ask if they have entertainment card rates for the dates you are going, and if so, you can order your book on-line and have it delivered. The book is full of coupons, and most people use them quite a bit, and feel like it is a very good deal. Lots of groups sell them for fundraisers too.

    yuk...

Actually one time at Mickeys house there was a dead RAT outside as you walk by the walkway. Of course the CM's quickly got rid of the thing.

I hope they only come out at night when I leave.

    LOL
