As far as the Anaheim Plaza, it's about a one large block walk that's not that bad and has an Olympic sized older pool. It does have a washer and dryer and you can request a refridge and Micro as well. It is an older property but not bad for the money if you are on a pretty tight budget. If you are going to spend most of the time in the parks and don't mind alittle walk it's not bad. The rooms are huge and have back patio's or balcony's which are nice. If you can afford to spend a little more , I would suggest the Best Western Park Place, for the money I found it the best price and location. Good luck!

(Don't they all? lol) One of the things I thought from the website was that the rooms did look large, I've looked at so many lately that it might have been the BWPPI, come to think of it...hmmmm... They do charge for parking, but it's only $2 a day. I will have to call about the refreigerator b/c they don't say if there is a charge for that, too. Our dates keep changing so I won't book anything through one of those discount sites b/c you have to pay upfront. I like booking at Hojo's where I can book extra days and call back and change then w/o fees! Now that they are so pricey, I have to look for these bargain basement hotel prices!

I also know the bathrooms are large and clean. The rooms are no where near being posh, but hey, sometimes are rooms were $40! The pool and jacuzzi are wonderful and also very large! The best thing about this place is that each time I've stayed there, I had a room near a vending machine so I could get my morning soda fix quite easily. I also like the lobby restaurant. It was nice to walk back to the room to have a cheap margarita and relax.

The outer room area's can get dark and I would feel unsafe being so far from the main area. We had a room right next to the pool and it was fine. It is a large property and the noise from the street side can get loud. Good luck!

Then he said that the boys might like a week at home before going right back to school and so we go back and forth! lol Ursula, that margarita sounds awfully good! That's another selling point!

You have to use a credit card # to guarantee the room but you can cancel and change your reservations as many times as you need, without any sort of charges or penalties. I've been using Travelhero for over five years now and have never had a problem with the service.
