The current title of the parade is Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. Despite the cheap makeovers this parade has seriously out stayed its welcome and is in need of something new and fresh. Unfortunately I fear the Magic Kingdom will hold out and wait until Disneyland is finished with Soundsational before buying it on the cheap. Despite the infrequent visits. Its very much a fact its the same Parade you caught on your last trip depending if it was in the last 10 years.

When was the last time the MK had a truly great parade? To me it is just a symptom of the poor entertainment department at the MK who haven't put on a good parade or show in many years.

    Diamond Horseshow Revue

    All great shows.

My friend almost got fired for complaining to a manager about how cheap and un-Disney-like that is.

    What a RIOT!

Great point, the weekend theme for me and Disney has been, "How embarrasing!"

You have just put the cherry on top.

Masking tape and hulu hoops.... It's great because it's FuN! And that's all that matters

That's a good point too, I never got Tapestry, but I'm sure some will bring that up.

Tapestry had great music. Other than that, meh. Plus it was a ***** to get around.

I always loved the old MGM parades they would do for every new release. Of course I was a kid back then so I don't remember a lot, but I vaguely remember the Mulan, Aladdin, and Hercules parades being good.

Its lost a float or too and multiple characters and dance segments. It is really sad. Entertainment-from little bands to parades and nighttime shows-is one of the worst parts of WDW.

It did. On first listening, I'm pretty sure I mocked it, and was like WTF. That would have been Fall '99 I believe. On second listening, it worked better for whatever reason. The parade itself tried too hard. To reinforce SJHYM's points, I think most of the stuff today tries too hard.
