I liked Alfred Molina's villainous Horvath the best, and Nicholas Cage's Balthazar was "ok", but I thought that Jay Baruchel playing the geeky "apprentice" Dave was downright bad. Not sure I could recommend this movie except as a cheap DVD rental.

I actually enjoyed it. I was more disappointed in spending $9.50 for the ticket and $9.75 for a small popcorn and medium soda, then sitting through 10 minutes of commercials before the previews started.
