    I'm putting this here for now, even though we don't know what's going to happen to this movie in the US.

    It's about the guy who designed the Japanese Zero Fighters used in WWII. Too soon? Maybe for Disney. No doubt G-Kids will snap it up if Disney doesn't, but that means nobody will ever see it ...

But, I wonder why Studio Ghibili creates so many animated films dealing with the topic of infirmed illness, including Grave of the Fireflies (mom and little sister were sick with tuberculosis and both died of it), My Neighbor Totoro (young mom was sick and in hospital long term) and one more film that I can't remember the name. The Wind Rises will be their fourth film dealing with this topic.

    Update: It will be released under Touchstone Pictures.
