What's wrong with the vehicles Disney is creating for the Jonas kids? Why aren't they connecting with the audience?

One reason might be that no matter how popular the JoBro are, their movies and TV show are recycled ideas. First comes the Hannah Montana concert, then out comes one for the Jonas'. Miley has a TV show about her secret life as a rock star. Now, so do the Jonas'. Isn't this a little stale?

Much better than Hannah Montana the TV show. Recycled yes (from the Monkees), but I never watched the Monkees so it was all new to me. I hope it does catch on. They seem like good guys and I'd hate to see them crash and burn this fast.

Exactly. I want to see them succeed too, but the recent news about their TV show has me a little worried. It's too early yet to say, but I hope things hit their groove soon.

They're just not that good. I don't think there's a singer among them.

Now, granted, that fact hasn't stopped bands in the past from some success, but most bands who have long-term success are good.

Or at least they can sing.

Miley's ticket weren't that expensive, either. (Green Day is starting a new tour and their tickets are only approximately $50. I just bought tickets to see Pink for $40. No Doubt tickets were $94-which I also balked at paying but at least it included the fees.) I was floored when I saw how much they were charging. Ridiculous!

Also, when I saw the JoBro open up for Miley, Joe's ego was so palpable that I literally found myself laughing out loud at him. He struck me and my friends as a kid on the fast track to rehab.

I should point out that I think the JoBro show here is sold out here. Amazing what

Have they had any really memorable songs since the Year 3000? I've heard some of their songs, and none have anything memorable in them for me. Year 3000 is the last one I can remember getting stuck in my head.

Boy groups also have a tendency to sing love-sick type songs that are really syrupy and corny. When the menu of songs is full of these cheese balls, then things really start to go downhill. There needs to be some greater diversity of topics, which seems to be more the case with Miley. "The climb" is a good example of a nice song about something other than being sick in love with someone.

Here in Utah, Miley Cyrus was the headliner at our annual, HUGE, "Stadium of Fire" 4th of July event. Tickets sold out within minutes or hours - for a 60,000 seat stadium.

This year, when the JoBros were announced, I quickly bought 2 good seats - thinking I could sell them easily for a quick buck - not that I'd gouge someone, but maybe make something for having gotten them so early.

My sister in law (who is 15) is CRAZY in love with the JoBros. I guess she influenced my thinking that they were hugely popular.

There are still tickets on sale for this year's event -- a month after they went on sale. Looks like i'm going this year. $ Ouch! $
