(*GET IT!*) I guess now we know how many LP podcasts to which one can listen before being driven stark raving mad. Anyhoo, all I was saying was that Bill had a face that deserves a good smack. There's no real English equivalent. We have something similar to refer to someone who's ugly in that we say such person has a face "only a mother could love." Well, I'm saying Bill has a face one could only slap. I think it's a wonderful expression that fits many people quite well. You know to whom I refer -- the terminally happy and the smug, smirking jerks you imagine lambasting with a good pie to the face. Bill thinks it's fun to send you through the corrosive test, and then he lets the assistant set you up for the crash test. He deserves a good slap. Oh, and "backpfeifengesicht" has no connection to Monty Python whatsoever. If it does, I certainly have no knowledge of it because I've never seen nor do I have much desire to see any of those movies. I do, however, know many people for whom English is a second language. From time to time, I pick up a few of their languages' gems. By the way, did you know that the expression for "hello" in Korean sounds a lot like "onion casserole?" Well, that's another can of worms.... And speaking of digging (remember, worms) -- that reminds me. I was actually present at DCA immediately after the announcement about the expansion project. I was being seated for dinner at the Napa Rose (since they only serve crazy people there, and no, you can't order worms) by a cast member who was absolutely giddy over the announcement. She asked me if had heard about the project, I told her yes, and then she proceeded to tell me that they were going to rip down DCA and rebuild it. That's not exactly accurate, but OK, close enough. At that point it struck me -- Disney was digging and found DCA. Now, they've decided that digging it up wasn't such a good idea, and so they're going to re-bury it and see what comes up the next time! Oh, I almost died on the inside laughing about that one....
