I took these early November of last year. There was supposedly a wildlife area on the opposite side of where I was, behind me, but it was just bushes and trees. This was really the only wildlife I found in the area. About Sepulveda Dam - Located in Los Angeles, California, the Sepulveda Dam is a project of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, built in 1941 to control winter flood waters along the Los Angeles River. It is located approximately 8 miles east of the river's official starting point in the San Fernando Valley. Behind the dam, the Sepulveda Basin is home to several large recreation areas and parks, a model-aircraft field, Japanese gardens, a wildlife refuge, a water reclamation plant and an armory. Well, I have some fond memories of the place so I enjoyed that one spot Some of the photos still need a little adjustments on the lighting, so I may fix that another time. I'm just glad to have gotten the cropping out of the way.
