We walked over to Disneyland and were in front for the rope drop. We walked rather quickly over to Space Mountain. It was amazing. We hit Indiana Jones, Splash, The Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and did a bit of shopping. We had an early lunch at the ESPN Zone. The food was incredible. We shopped DownTown Disney, and headed back to the hotel to drop of our loot. We walked back to the parks, and entered DCA. We watched Aladain, and had front row seats. It is a great show. Next was the Tower Of Terror, Screamin', and a few other walk on attractions around DCA. We had an amazing time. We returned to Disneyland, and rode the train around the park. We hopped off, and got our seats at the balcony for Fantasmic. I hadn't a clue we were able to stay to watch the fireworks after the show. It was truely magical. After Fantasmic, we shopped Main Street. I had my first encounter with a very rude CM. I can understand how frustrating their jobs can be, but.... I walked up to the counter at the jewlery store that sits just off the watch store. I waited until I thought the CM was able to help me. I asked if she could tell me a price. She looked at me and said, "you're going to have to wait. I'm in the middle of helping another guest". I was shocked. Now it may not seem rude, but it was all in the tone. I'm a reasonable person and I honestly wouldn't have interuped her, if I thought she was helping someone else. Anyway, It killed the Disney Magic. We decided we didn't feel like shopping anymore and called it a night. Saturday morning was insane. We had Early Entry and were at the front gates by 7:00 a.m. We rode Space Mountain, Buzz, Mr. Toads, Peter Pan, and Matterhorn all before 8:00 a.m. We had a quick snack along Mainstreet, and rode Indiana, Splash, and The Haunted Mansion. We were at DCA's front gates by 9:30. We hit Soarin' and waited for the rest of the park to open. Next was Screamin', SunWheel, and a few other attractions. We did some shopping, and had lunch at the RainForest Cafe. The food was okay, but we won't eat there again. We walked back to the Candy Cane for a change of shoes and a sweatshirt. We returned to DCA for a few more rides, and to catch Block Party Bash. In May we had seen the Buzz Light Year section. This time we danced with Sulley and the other Monsters. It was great. We closed down DCA at 6:00, and entered a very crowded Disneyland. We used a few fast passes we had collected earlier in the day, and I waited in line for over 25 minutes for a Mint Julip. What surprised me was their was only 5 people in front of me. We found a spot and watched the parade. Very fun. We checked out Toon Town, shopped, and people watched. We then caught the parade in front of Small World. I loved the projections on It's A Small World during the Fire Works. We stood by man that wore a very cool DisneyLand coat that actually lite up. We did a lot of listening in on his conversations. He knew a lot about Disneyland and was sharing with those who were with him (and nosy strangers standing near by). He was fascinating, and we learned a lot. I had no idea that they sent a weather balloon up before the Fire Works. We actually saw the balloon. We rode Splash, and took another trip through the mansion. We closed down Disneyland, and were exausted. Sunday morning was a bit bitter sweet. We couldn't wait to get home to see our kids, but we also didn't want our time in Disneyland to end. We had an early breakfast at the Hotel, and were in the front of the line for the rope drop. We walked on Space, and by the time we exited, the wait time was already 45 minutes. We rode Star Tours, and headed towards DCA. We did very little in DCA, but really enjoyed people watching. We were tired, hot, and very tired of the crowds. We did some last minute shopping in Down Town Disney, and headed back to the hotel to wait for the Super Shuttle. We rode stand by on an earlier flight home, and were kissing and showering our children with gifts by 8:00 p.m. We had an amazing time. I think the next trip will be in 2007. This time with the kids. We're still very tired, and having trouble returning to daily life - IN THE RAIN!!!!! Please excuse any spelling mistakes....I need a vacation!
