    Apparently the movie has to do with the statues of "Easter Island" in Chile. It is said that it is completely discarded in traditional animation
    I wonder if they're really trying to make a movie with Paperman technique or something similar (my favorite moment of this short visually, is when Meg, in the beginning, looks back from the train.)

    Excuse me, do you mean it was begun as traditional animation, but the work so far has been discarded?
