I welcome your advice if you have been there before in December!!!

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights at MGM is a really nice thing to see as well as the Holidays Around The World at Epcot. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at MK is another nice thing to do but it is a separate ticket price. It is not included in your park tickets. If happen to stop in the GF make sure you see the Ginger Bread house that they have in the lobby. It smells scrumptious and the ginger bread is yummy. I normally don't like ginger bread but this is good. The holiday decorations at the parks and resorts are nice to see as well. You all will have a great time. We go every December and can't wait for this December.

We are definitely going for a 3rd annual trip this December. It is a wonderful time of year to go. The holiday decorations are spectacular and for when we go (first weekend of December) its a great way to get into the holiday spirit but still leaves us plenty of time when we get back to prepare for festivities at home.

The key is layers - when we were there in 2000 for 2 weeks, we had 40 degree to 85 degree temps. don't forget the celebtrations around the world in Epcot, the tree lighting ceremony, and the Candlelight Processional (Carol concert with celebrity narrator).

During the day the temps were generally in the 60's, we found ourselves in jeans most of the time. A small blankie came in handy at night while waiting for fireworks/parades to begin. We will be heading down this December and can not wait!!! Don't miss the Osborne Lights!!! AK is awesome at that time of year, we found that we were able to really enjoy the park as we weren't sweating to death!

Make sure you see the Osborne display, and if you can swing it, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. MGM has snow during the evenings, and the Magic Kingdom's Main Street at the end of MVMCP. The decorations are great. Make sure you take the Monorail around to the different hotels and see how they've dressed up the place.

I think layers will get you by just fine. Think San Francisco.. sort of. shorts & tees are usually fine during the day but be sure to bring pullovers or windbreakers for the evenings.. check the weather forcast before you head out to make any last minute additions to your carry on bag.. if you go the campfire program at Ft Wilderness in the winter hats and gloves are especially handy. =) If you can bring hoodies that would help with the hat thing I noticed. We went to MVMCP the night we arrived to Florida and it was pretty breezy & cool.. but not freezing like when we went in Dec 99. =)

Checkout the holiday photos on allearsnet.com. I've found that with the weather that time of year, it's good to pack in layers. I alway pack a sweatshirt, wind pants and those magic stretch gloves in my packpack. It may be nice and warm during the day, but some nights it can get into the 40's.
