I didn't find Alice especially relatable or likable, so I had little interest in trying to keep up with her story, other than if it tied into the original series. After realizing that there would be little/no benefit to OUAT for watching Wonderland, I quickly dismissed it I wonder if the series would have done better as a mid-season spin-off. Part of the reason that I skipped it was that it was too much to pay attention to. Unlike a sitcom, where you can halfway pay attention and still know what's going on, you really have to actively watch to get all details and story twists. I really wasn't interested in having to watch 2 simultaneous shows like this, but I would gladly swap one out for another during the off-season. I still probably would have watched the Olympics instead, but I think it would be a viable avenue for a future spin-off
