She got up and walked to her daughters. There they were shocked at the size of the swelling on her head and the amount of blood, they couldnt get it to stop bleeding either, so they have taken her to hospital. They said she seemed fine in herself and didnt want any fuss! she wasnt dizzy or nausious(sp) They have just rung from the hospital to say they got it to stop bleeding with a compression bandage and were waiting to see the DR. Im worried that she will feel the effects later this evening, when she will be alone, her DD is going out tonight ( to see a medium! ) and offered to cancel, but she has inisted she is fine, and we are going out for a meal with friends, again she said to continue as planned, but could she suddenly get worse a few hours later? I dont like the thought of her being alone at all. She is 85 BTW, a very strong, fit 85 year old though.

She got her tetanus updated whilst there, which was something she was getting around to doing anyway, so thats one good thing! thanks again for your thoughts. The temperature here has plumeted and its very windy!
