My parents have been taking her to the vet and while her blood sugar levels are getting to be normal, she keeps dropping weight. Here's the part that really sucks, she still acts like she always did. Always wants to play, always is getting into things, stealing a tupperware dish or two. But the food she eats is being burned up too quickly. The problem is we can't let her waste away and weigh 20 some pounds, but how can you put a dog to sleep if she is still so active. Any types of prayers or good thoughts would be appreciated. They had to adjust the amount of insulin - remember she's decreased her weight by half, so the amount of insulin she's getting would be way too much! Hope things work out well.
