Understanding how scientists reach their conclusions and how scientific theories become the dominant models to explain natural phenomena is essential to dealing with the problems that we as a species are facing.

Understanding that science is a tool rather than a philosophy, may alleviate some of the irrational fear that it is some monolithic enterprise ever in opposition to religion. Scientists don't look to evolution to prove that God doesn't exist, but to understand the natural processes that affect life.

If you haven't been following science and you watch the show, you're going to have your mind blown by how much we know.

But overall we thought the show was good and look forward to the rest of the season.
