He's funny!" I know I'm having a knee-slapping good time.

When people are afraid, especially when they're irrationally afraid, they can turn violent very quickly. Gather them into a large group and they will almost always get violent. These idiot "entertainers" are directly responsible for what happens. Frighteningly enough, these same people deny their responsibilities while claiming to be Christians. They also seem to talk a mean game about how others need to accept responsibility for their actions.
Originally Posted By utahjosh <Implying (or outright saying) that Muslims are out to take over our country> Some of them are. "Death to America!" they shout themselves. Of course, that's a very small percentage of muslims. Nobody I've listened to has said all muslims think that way. <Gather them into a large group and they will almost always get violent.> This was a lone man in a cab. <These idiot "entertainers" are directly responsible for what happens> Prove it.

I would expect nothing less from you. <<Prove it>> Prove the opposite. Or, forget that. I'll just take it as true due to my "faith". That seems to work for you and your beliefs and statements.

For giving his opinions on a radio program? That's all the free speech I was referring to. What do I not understand? Teach me, oh great one.

That is the point I am trying to make. I also said ALL of the idiot entertainers who are doing this are culpable. Forgive me for continually trying to talk about the bigger picture instead of hyper-focusing on the cabbie story. I know how none of the other LP threads ever discuss anything other than the EXACT topic at hand. Josh, apparently you're choosing to give the impression that you don't know that you can't say *anything* you want, that's not what "Free Speech". (I think you're being deliberately obtuse but to what gain?) There are limits to what one can say in a public forum, especially if it's meant to cause panic. I believe is happening more and more these days. Of course I don't think Glenn Beck should be arrested. I detest him. But, I do feel he can say (almost) whatever he wants...however, he needs to accept responsibility for what he says and that he will never do.
