The Secret Service would set up folding chairs for them in the aisle. At the end of the song, they and their entourage would then leave the theatre. Because she's the one who made keeping our surroundings pleasant a popular thing. At least once a year, I visit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center here in Austin. It's quite lovely. And, until my last spring on this planet, I will always remember her when the bluebonnets and other flowers start to bloom each March. It's because of Lady Bird that we Texans get this visual treat each year, and we will remember her for it. RIP, Lady Bird - we'll miss you.
