"I would tell them [McCain and Palin] I understand that they make statements during the heat of a campaign, and probably they've been a little misinformed by their staff." Misinformed? This guy takes gall to a new level. This isn't even about something as simple as denial, but the insulated arrogance of a long-time senator stripped bare. Not convicted? This guy takes the prize.
